This new blog is still under construction. But please bare with me and keep checking back cause. I believe that the content on this Blog can help just about anyone looking for better health, longer life and... OK I can't think of an, "And" But isn't BETTER HEALTH and LONGER LIFE good enough??
A little bit about me...
I used to be an E.R. Nurse turned professional performer, toured the world. When the economy crashed I put up my entertaining hat aside and for the past 3 years have been working at a Vitamin Shop. For the Past 20 years I've always been interested in health and fitness.
Ok I have to step back a little bit, And go to when I was a child, I was very lucky to have had A stroke when I was a toddler that left me with not much use of my right side, thus I walked with a limp. Because of this I'd to go to the Doctors a bit more then most kids... During those years and lots of physical therapy other then the home the second place I'd go a lot that I felt comfortable was the doctors, so it was only natural that I'd be drawn to the medical field. At the Age of Seven I was fortunate to be able to go get therapy by going to Jack Lalanne gym and as you can imagine I liked it...
Becoming an entertainer and being able to what you love was fantastic, But in doing so for the things I did I had to stay in some what decent shape. Working out and stretching allowed me to Balancing a coffee mug on top of a Hula hoop on my chin. It does take years of practice but you also involves some control of your muscles and balance. You put this all together and you get a guy who's into eating right having fun and taking care of yourself all in one swoop.
Within these posts I will lay down the Basics for Nutrition, proteins and carbs and calories and also discussing about green tea and other herbs that you might not have heard of to help in aiding you to your goal of achieving good health. Lets get to is shall we.
